Waynedale defended its WCAL title with a big win Saturday. The Bears totalled 217.5 points in claiming another league championship. Northwestern finished second with 180 points and Chippewa was third with 121 points. It's Waynedale's sixth league title in seven years. Waynedale's Brenden Stanley and Chippewa's Zach Srock were named tournament CO-MVP's.
In The O.C.C. tournament, Lexington pulled away to win the league title over Ashland and West Holmes. The Minutemen scored 254.5 points to better Ashland (167) and West Holmes (156). The Knights Max Rohskopf was named the tournament's outstanding wrestler.
