Event Name: Agronomy Update
Event Date and Time: January 17, 10:00 am
Event Details*: An Agronomy Update program that will focus on current and upcoming issues in row crop production is scheduled for January 17 at Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC campus in Wooster. The program is sponsored by the Wayne County Extension office and Tyler Grain and Fertilizer of Smithville. Registration is at 9:30 am and the educational program will run from 10 am until 2:00 pm. Cost of the Agronomy Update program is $10/person which includes lunch and handout materials.
Presenters include Steve Prochaska, OSU Extension Agronomy Field Specialist, Rory Lewandowski, OSU Extension Wayne County educator and representatives from Tyler Grain and Fertilizer. Topics that will be covered include: The 9 Major Points of a 2013 Weed Control Program, Real World Application of the 4 R’s, Modified Relay Intercropping, and The ABC’s of Cover Crop Use.
