The University of Akron Wayne College’s Holmes County Higher Education Center has two mid-semester courses beginning March 8: First Aid & CPR and Effective Oral Communication.

These eight-week classes are general education courses that are based on the Ohio Transfer Module and can be applied to degrees offered at Wayne College, The University of Akron or other institutions in the state.

Located in downtown Millersburg at 88-B East Jackson St., the Holmes Center encompasses the second floor of the old Mast Pharmacy building. The interior of the 1902 building was completely refurbished with state-of-the-art technology, including high-speed, wireless Internet access.
