Secrest Arboretum’s Plant Discovery Day

Expect to find the hard to find at Secrest Arboretum’s Plant Discovery Day. The 17th annual plant and art sale features new, unusual and underused landscape plants — trees, shrubs, annuals and perennials — plus art for the home and garden by regional artists.

Hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit the arboretum.

Activities will be in and around Fisher Auditorium near the OARDC campus main entrance. You’ll find food, a bug zoo, expert plant advice, and oral and silent plant auctions as well.
