WHAT: WaCPAC Presents Open Mic Music Night

Musicians and fans of local music are invited to attend an Open Mic Music Night on Saturday, Sept., 18 from 7-10 p.m. at 120 Beall Avenue in Wooster. Hosted by the Wayne County Performing Arts Council (WaCPAC), this family-friendly event is a perfect place for new musicians to get experience playing to an audience and for seasoned musicians to show off their talent. All types of music are welcome as long as it is family-friendly and not offensive. Mics, speakers and a cd player will be provided. A stage will also be provided, however it will only accommodate up to four performers and there is no room setting up a large drum kit. There is a $3 cover charge for everyone attending, however children under 3 are free. Parking will be available at nearby businesses, in a lot accessed from an alley next the 120 Beall Ave building, and in parking lot next to the building. For more information, call 330-466-6360.
