HomeOwners Clinic: Saving Energy & Money in New & Existing Homes.

Come to get your questions answered on Thursday, January 28th, 7-9p.m. A panel of
professionals will give specific answers to your home energy questions. Panel includes
John Galehouse of Galehouse Construction, an Energy Star Builder; Mike Strrehle, All
Seasons Builders, an Energy Star Builder; Justin Reed , Conservation
Services Group, Home Energy Auditor; Aaron Butzer, Daniel's Heating & Cooling; HVAC
Contractor; Keith Speirs, Speirs Architectural Design, Architect; and Allen Zimmerman,
Ohio State Univ., Professor. Your questions generate the discussion. A sampling of
what might be asked: How do I choose an energy efficient home builder? What features
affect the efficiency of my home? How do I know if my home is well insulated? Why
should I get an energy audit? How can I plan to use renewable energy in my home?
How do I upgrade my heating & cooling system? Who should I contact for more advice on
saving home energy? What do I need to know about weatherizing? What are the most
efficient lighting and appliance options? How much money can I save with the tax credits?
