Department of Music at Ashland University Will Present Two January Recitals

The Department of Music at Ashland University will present two January recitals in the Elizabeth Pastor Recital Hall in the Center for the Arts. Both events are free and open to the public.

The Fall Semester Honors Recital will be performed on Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Participants include Emily Geib, Jonathan Barko, and Erica Koenig, clarinet; James Slike, trombone; Melanie Gardner and Lyndsey Riegel, flute; Chanae Curtis and Margo George, sopranos; and Bryon Black, tenor. Megan Barth, Pavlina Draganova and Rose Zuber, piano, will assist.

On Thursday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m., Dr. Scott Garlock, director of Jazz Activities, will perform his faculty trombone recital.
