Creston Canaan United Methodist Church, 166 South Main Street, Creston invites the public to attend the Festival Trees and Tables to be held on December 5 & 6, 2009. This fund raiser features decorated Christmas trees, holiday table tops and family nativity sets. There will be a preview dinner and tour on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6:00pm by presale ticket only. Adults are $10.00 and children 2-12 are $5.00. The menu includes chicken casserole, veggie, salad and dessert. The meal will be followed by a tour of the trees, tables and nativity sets and shopping at the Country Store. Items for sale include gift baskets, canned goods, Christmas items, and baked goods. The Sunday, Dec. 6 tour runs from 2:00-5:00pm with tickets available at the door. Adults are $5.00 and children 2-12 are $2.00. There will be a live Nativity as well as the tour of trees, tables, and nativities and the Country Store. Refreshments will be served, door prizes awarded and attendees will vote on a favorite tree and table top. Proceeds go towards church projects, Creston Salvation Army, free S.O.U.P.
