Let’s step back into the early days of Kitty Hawk to celebrate the birthday of one of the fathers of flight: Wilbur Wright! His creative spirit and inventive mind will inspire us to create airplane artwork of all kinds. Your kids will take flight and mix history with art to soar to new heights!
Elementary Workshop Grades K-6

Kids will learn about some of Wilbur Wright’s early planes as they take a look at aircraft design over the last one hundred years. Along the way we will create our own design and construct it out of foil, sheet foam, and cardboardtubes. I don’t know if it will fly, but it will sure be fun!
