The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes Museum will be open from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 and on the second Saturday of each month. New displays have been arranged throughout the museum. The museum is located in the village of Shreve at 281 North Market Street (State Route 226) across from Shreve Mobil. Parking is available at Shreve Mobil, PNC Bank and the downtown parking lots. Handicap parking is available at the rear of the museum entering an alley off of East Robinson Street. A pancake and sausage breakfast to benefit John Henry Beechy will be held on Saturday Dec. 29th from 7am to 11am. The benefit will be held at Yoder Lumber Co.'s Berlin branch, located at 4515 Township Rd. 367. John Henry of Saltillo worked at Yoder Lumber's Berlin location until about a year ago when he was hospitalized. He has been unable to work since that time and has spent considerable time in the hospital and is still recovering. His fellow employees have decided to have this benefit as a way to help with his medical expenses. Sausage will be prepared by Dennis Raber!
