The ORRVILLE RAILROAD HERITAGE SOCIETY sponsors Santa Claus trains from Orrville to Lodi, OH and return on Saturday, November 24 and December 1, 2012. Enjoy the train ride with Santa and his elves onboard. Trains leave Orrville at 10 AM, 12 Noon, 2 PM and 4 PM. Board at the Orrville siding at 245 McGill Street. Auto parking is available near the train boarding site.

DOWNTOWN RITTMAN DECORATING CONTEST

The Rittman Area Chamber of Commerce would like to announce a great way to show your talents and holiday spirit by entering in a planter decorating contest.

The downtown square has 23 planter boxes along Ohio Ave and Main Street. We are looking for churches, businesses, organizations or families to pick a planter and decorate for the winter holiday season.

• Designs must be family friendly.
• Decorations must be secured firmly in planters to withstand the elements.
• Signs featuring the sponsor name may be used in the planter.

The Millersburg Candlelight Church Walk will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 form 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tour 6 churches and enjoy music, decorations, historic information and light refreshments at each stop. The Wooster Country Club in conjunction with People to People Ministries will be teaming up for a Holiday Toy Drive on December 2, from 11 am – 4 pm at the Wooster Country Club, 1251 Oak Hill Road. WHAT: Christmas meals for homeless and needy men, women and children in our community. People who may be spending Christmas alone are also encouraged to join us.
