The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) provides a one time per year utility payment to individuals/families who have received notice of disconnection and are without the financial means to pay heating/cooling bills. Persons requesting assistance are required to present a formal notice of disconnection as well as proof of income to determine eligibility. HEAP clients can only utilize funds from this program one time per year. Seniors and persons with a medical prescriptions may also access Summer Cooling services. Sterling United Methodist Church, 13584 Kauffman Ave., Sterling OH. will be hosting FREE Soup Suppers on Wednesdays during Lent (February 22 through March 28th,), from 4:30-6:00pm. A different soup will be featured each week along with Chili, dessert and beverages. Carry out available. Kindergarten Registration for children entering school in August 2012 will be February 13 - April 27, 2012. Parents with children who will be five years of age on or before August 1, 2012 are asked to call by April 27, 2012 and register their child at the elementary school their child will attend. | ||
