Ohio State University’s Secrest Arboretum has announced its 2010 schedule of events — walks, workshops and family activities all focused on healthy ecosystems. Plants of course are the feature. But birds, bugs, science and music get their time in the spotlight too. The arboretum is part of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. Triway Jr. High Washington, D.C. Trip Cornhole Tournament will be Saturday October 30, 2010 starting at 10:00am in the Jr. High gym. Beach City American Legion Hall Post 549 (125,3rd Ave.NE) is having there Swiss Steak Supper on Saturday, October 16th from 4:30 - 7pm.
