Thursday Night Concerts 7 PM:
June 4 –Cedarville Drama LIFELINE PLAYERS – brought to us by Orrville Christian Church (Yes, this concert is the only one on a Friday and will be followed by one of the Friday Night Movies in the park)
June 10 - Justin Wallace Country Variety Band - A full ensemble raw edge country band also encompassing distinct elements of folk, rock, and bluegrass style of music.
Justin plays several stringed instruments and over the past years has been involved in many different band configurations performing at N.E. Ohio dance clubs, festivals, Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, Troutman Vineyards etc...
June 17 - Good Company – has the experience and talent to provide a fun and nostalgic trip back to the days of bobbie socks and soda shops. The six-piece group has been together for over 30 years, consisting of piano, guitar, bass, drums, sax, trombone, and vocals from all the musicians. Their featured vocalist is Amy Gardner, 2008 Grand Prize Winner of the Singing Sensations Competition for Northeastern Ohio and was the featured vocalist with the Cleveland Jazz orchestra’s tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.
June 24 – Gaetano Letizia & The Underworld Band – A new blues band with four veterans of the Cleveland Blues & Rock scenes. Gaetano put together this all star line up with Vernon Jones, formerly with the Robert Jr. Lockwood band, and Blues Boy Crosbie on bass. Fabulous entertainer Bobbie Huszar on lead vocals and blues harp rounds out this slammin’ blues & funk adventure. Repertoire includes Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, BB King, Albert King, Clapton, Hendrix and lots more crowd pleasing blues & funk! Danceable, listenable and not too loud to be fun.
July 1 – 4th of July Festival at Orr Park – Rides, Games, Fireworks on the 4th.
July 8 – Billy Ray Savage and the Heritage Country - Billy Ray has a 5 piece Country band. Billy Ray and his band have performed in numerous locations. He was a guest on the Wheeling West Virginia Jamboree April 3, 2010. He M.C's the Medina Music Barn and plays with the house band every Friday night and is one of the featured vocalists. If you love country music, you will love Billy Ray Savage.
July 15 – Blue Lunch – just released their fifth CD. Reviewer Steve Jones is secretary of the Crossroads Blues Society in Rockford, IL, had this to say about their new album….Whether it is traditional blues, swing, boogie woogie, rollicking barrelhouse or down tempo stuff, it is well done and quite professional. I can’t find anything to complain about in this Cleveland band except they need to get on the road and showcase their stuff so more people can find out what great band they are!
July 22 – Different Directions - DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS is a group of local guys who have over 200 years of combined musical experience among them! Do you like Jazz? Classic rock? Blues? Folk? Pop? These are the different directions this versatile band can go. Ten years ago, Dave Tibbitts and Denny Miller charted the course of DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS and they have entertained audiences locally ever since. Join Dave Tibbitts, Denny Miller, Dave Baldwin, Mike Brown, and Vic Schantz for a musical ride down memory lane with the music of DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.
July 29 - Orrville Community Band
Aug. 5 –Josh Snyder Band with special guest Chain Reaction
The Josh Snyder Band rocks northeast Ohio with a blend of music ranging from blues to progressive rock and everything in between with a mixture of original music as well as covers by Joe Bonnamassa, Andy Timmons and Joe Satriani just to name a few.
Aug. 12 - Tailor Made Classics (Last concert of the season)
