The 16th Annual Harvest Festival

Longenecker Mennonite Church, County Road 186, near Winesburg, will be having the 16th Annual Harvest Festival, Saturday, October 2nd. The public is invited. All activities take place outside under a large tent. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the day. The events scheduled include:

7:00 -10:30 am All you can eat pancake and sausage, sausage gravy with biscuits and corn mush breakfast.

9:00 am to 3:30 pm Car & Motorcycle Show-prizes will be awarded in various categories. Come and pick out your favorite car or motorcycle. Last year over a hundred cars registered.

10:30 am Children’s Auction- items and bidding for children to
age 14.

11:00 – 4:00 pm Food Stand-pulled pork sandwiches, sloppy joes, hot dogs/coneys, french fries, ham & bean soup w/corn bread and chicken noodle soup

12:00 pm Main Auction (featuring a variety of items)

Other features include: *Homemade Ice Cream, *Apple Dumplings, *Arrowhead Knapping, *Supervised children’s area.

All proceeds from this festival benefit the Longenecker building fund.
