Week 4 High School Football
I am excited about the league portion of high school football starting tonight. It is already Week #4. After tonight, we talk about the midway point of the season. Where does the time go? Three great match-ups tonight for our conferences will set the tone for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, all three games are on the same Friday night. Just bad luck with the schedule but you can bet, there will be plenty of surprises during the rest of the season. We are airing the Lexington at Orrville game on our AM station, WKVX AM 960. There are very few times that we air games on both WKVX and WQKT on the same night, but we feel it is warranted tonight. We'll have as many score updates on Triway - Manchester and other games as we can throughout the evening. Ohio State broke out hearts last Saturday. It will probably take a week to get pumped back up again. We expect so much from the Bucks and Jim Tressel has such an outstanding record that close big game losses the last few years have the coach experiencing the "honeymoon is over" attitude really for the first time. OSU may be a year away anyway but don't tell that to Bucks fans. How many of you were really rooting for Michigan last weekend. I was. The Big Ten needs those wins. The Browns may be more than a year away. A certain malaise has set over Browns Stadium. 8 -8 would be good enough, I think, for fans to hang around. 6 - 10 again and things might get real ugly. Enjoy the games.
