October Preview

October is here...One month to go in High School football regular season...that's unbelievable. I am finishing collecting local basketball schedules already, which is depressing. I love hoops but I'm not ready for them yet. Started to look at football playoff scenarios. Dalton is a lock. Hillsdale, Orrville, and Triway control their own. Waynedale needs to run the table and Loudonville, yes Loudonville, has hopes.

One more thing on the Browns and I'm done for a while. Who is running things? Go back to their draft. Two straight early round wide receivers? Brian Robiskie was good at Ohio State but every Buckeye fan was stunned he went in the second round. Then Mohamed Massaquoi out of Georgia to follow. Did they really need two early round wideouts? Come on. How about linebacker? Evidently Ray Maleluga and James Laurenitis can't help anybody immediately. Look at the numbers for each. Defense, O-Line ? The Browns haven't even activated Robiskie yet. 2nd round pick and not even activated to play by the team.
