Week 11
Another high school football regular season has flown by. 10 weeks seems to go quicker and quicker. Congratulations to our five area playoff teams. Orrville is back in for the 21st year. Triway has a nice streak of three in a row and will play the Riders in their fifth postseason. Dalton returns for back to back years and the 10th time overall. Finally its Hillsdale and Norwayne. Wow how things have changed a bit in the WCAL. I don't know if it's a balance of power but it's great to see "other" teams succeed. We have seen this coming for a few years now. Hillsdale finally wracking up a league title while the 'Cats are in the playoffs for the second time in three years. Now we have another half-season to get thru the playoffs. Five more weeks of fun start this weekend.
Another congrats to Wooster High School for their handling of the 100th game celebration involving Wooster and Orrville last weekend. With everything and everyone that was invloved, it could have been easy to lose control of things. They didn't. It was handled with respect and class and was a first-rate show the entire way. Great job by Athletic Director Keri Hamsher and the entire school.
