Leave it to baseball and kill any momentum from the opening round playoff series. Fresh off a no-hitter and great pitching everywhere, let's wait nearly a week to begin the league championship series. Yea, that's a good idea. Just like the NBA, television runs the show but come on. Why not rest two days and go again? Nothing on Wednesday and Thursday - baseball could be King. Many people, like myself, don't watch a ton of games thru the regular season but the playoffs are great. Pitching is at its best, timely hitting. Instead of rolling into the next series, we almost forget about the sport for a whole week. Yea, let's begin again on the weekend. That's a good call. After all, nobody cares about high school football Friday's and all that college football on Saturday. In a year when ticket sales are down, not exactly a way to capitalize on your sports best time. Guess I'll turn in Monday and see what happened. Too much football to worry about it this weekend,
