Enough
It seems as if commissioners in our major sports are getting tougher year after year on idiotic, stupid and criminal behavior - and thank goodness for that. NBA Commissioner David Stern's recent "indefinite suspension" of Gilbert Arenas is another step in the right direction. Does anybody outside of Gilbert's family really care if he plays again? He will, eventually, get back on the court but Arenas and all the other high-priced kids playing games might soon realize that having a lucrative paying job is not a right, it's a privilege. Guys like Arenas just don't get it. Too many millions...too much attention...not enough smarts. It's getting really old.
