Jimmy Haslem started with a bang yesterday, saying that Browns president Mike Holmgren will be gone by the end of the year. You can't fault the man for wanting his own people in positions of power after he just shelled out one billion dollars. Holmgren's track record as a coach is outstanding...as a GM, not so much ( see Seattle too ). Two winning seasons and one playoff appearance since the Browns returned in 1999 means another change at the top. What would this region do with a good Browns team? People would probably lose their minds. Of course, if you have been to an NFL game lately, that has already happened. Unfortuantely, not the best sport to take young kids to a game. Too much alcohol means to many problems and of course just a few make everybody else look bad.
